By downloading, installing, or using the Countried mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). These Terms form a legal agreement between you and SW TECH LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), the developer of Countried.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Countried is a personal travel tracking application that allows users to:
The App stores all user data locally on the device. No account registration is required. The App is provided free of charge with no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, SW TECH LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App on a device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

Countried includes a database of countries, continents, territories, flags, and geographic fun facts. While we strive to keep this information accurate, country borders, political status, and geographic data change over time.
The App is intended for personal entertainment and travel-tracking purposes only. The country data, badge criteria, fun facts, and statistics are provided for informational and gamification purposes and should not be relied upon for official, legal, academic, or professional use.
SW TECH LLC makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any information presented in the App.
The App allows you to generate a shareable image ("Travel Card") based on your usage data. This image is created on your device and shared at your sole discretion using your device's native operating system sharing functionality.
You are solely responsible for any content you share publicly. SW TECH LLC does not receive, store, moderate, or take responsibility for the Travel Cards you generate or how you choose to distribute them.
By using the sharing feature, you represent that your use complies with the terms of service of any platform you share to (e.g. Instagram, WhatsApp, X/Twitter).
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In summary: all data you enter into Countried is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to or collected by SW TECH LLC.
The App, including its design, graphics, user interface, animations, badge artwork, copy, and underlying software, is the exclusive property of SW TECH LLC and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Country flag emoji displayed in the App are part of the Unicode standard and are rendered by your device's operating system. Country names and geographic designations are factual and in the public domain.
The Space Grotesk typeface is used under the SIL Open Font License.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SW TECH LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Your use of the App is also subject to the applicable terms of those platforms. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the App Store or Google Play terms, the platform terms govern with respect to platform-specific matters.
Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not parties to these Terms and have no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App.
These Terms are effective until terminated. Your rights under these Terms will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any provision herein. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete it from your device. SW TECH LLC may also discontinue or modify the App at any time without notice.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to SW TECH LLC's jurisdiction of incorporation, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after the updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
