Countried is a mobile application developed and published by SW TECH LLC (swtech.llc). This Privacy Policy explains how the Countried app handles information when you use it on iOS or Android.
Countried stores a small amount of data locally on your device using your operating system's secure local storage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

We do not collect, receive, or have access to any of this information.
To be explicit, Countried does not collect or process any of the following:
Countried includes a "Share" button that generates a PNG image of your travel card. This image is created entirely on your device and is only shared when you choose to share it using your device's native share sheet.
We do not receive, store, or process the generated image. What you share — and where you share it — is entirely your choice and governed by the privacy policy of whatever platform you share to (e.g. Instagram, WhatsApp, Messages).
On Android, the app writes the temporary PNG to your device's cache directory in order to attach it to the share sheet. This file is not uploaded anywhere and is a standard operating system pattern.
Countried requests only the minimal permissions required:

The app does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, notifications, or any other permission.
Countried is built with Expo (React Native). The Expo SDK is used only for core mobile functionality (fonts, sharing, splash screen). We do not integrate any advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or social SDKs.
Google Fonts (Space Grotesk) is loaded at runtime via the Expo Google Fonts package, which bundles the font locally inside the app binary. No request is made to Google's servers at runtime.
Countried does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Since no data is transmitted or stored by us, the app is safe for users of all ages. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our app, please contact us and we will address it promptly — though in practice there is no data for us to delete since none is ever collected.
Because all data is stored locally on your device and we never receive or transmit it, the security of your travel data is effectively managed by your device's own security model (iOS Secure Enclave / Android Keystore). We recommend keeping your device updated and using a screen lock.
Uninstalling Countried will permanently delete all locally stored data from your device.
Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on our end. All data you enter into Countried exists solely on your device and is fully under your control:
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app's features change in ways that affect data handling. Any material changes will be reflected with an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
